Sowing Good Seed

It is important to understand that you’re human spirit is like a rich garden soil.  Your thoughts and your words are seeds. This soil does not discriminate, it will except good seed or bad seed.  The good seed produces what I call good fruit,  which are success, prosperity and happiness in your life.  The bad seed produces what I call weeds, thisles, thorns and nettles,  which are a bad habits, false beliefs and assumptions, and of course poor outcomes in your life.  A seed (thought or word)  planted in your spirit whether it is true or false creates a belief and expectation  based upon that seed.

For example, you keep saying to yourself “I am always late”.  That is a seed which becomes a weed or thorn in your spirit.  What a person thinks in their heart so they become.  So that becomes your belief and expectation.  Your brain then  reacts  accordingly, it knows you must be somewhere at a certain time but it causes you to do things to ensure you are tardy.

You ask how can I change this? It is really very simple,  you have to get rid of the weeds, thisles, thorns and nettles, and start planting good seed.  Every time you think or begin to say “I’m always late” dismiss that thought or retract that statement and say this, “I’m always on time”. Ok, I know what you are thinking you’re saying but that’s not true I’m always late.  Remember your spirit does not discriminate between good seed or bad seed.  A Bible principle is to speak those things that are not as though they were, it says let the weak say they are strong.  Planting the good seed in your spirit will produce good fruit by retraining your brain to react according to the good seed. So start today by uprooting those weeds and planting good seed.
